Arshkuthar Rasa is a type of medicine made with natural ingredients used to treat a medical condition called haemorrhoids or piles. In Ayurveda, haemorrhoids are called “Arsh. ” ArshKuthar Rasa is a popular medicine that helps reduce the symptoms of this condition.

The ingredients in ArshKuthar Rasa are a mix of herbs and minerals that are used for medicinal purposes. ArshKuthar Rasa contains purified sulfur, copper calcination, iron calcination, tin calcination, and a combination of three fruits known as Triphala. These ingredients are thought to have properties that can help lessen the swelling, pain, and discomfort caused by haemorrhoids.

Ingredients Of Arshkuthar Rasa

Method of Preparation of Arshkuthar Rasa

• Mix the same amount of purified sulfur and borax powder together.
• Take Haritaki, Vibhitaki, and Amalaki and grind them individually until they become a fine powder.
• Combine the powders from Step 2 with the powdered mixture of Shuddha Gandhaka and Tankana Bhasma.
• Mix all the ingredients completely until they become a smooth mixture.
• The mix is then treated in the traditional way of Ayurveda. This might mean heating, grinding, and purifying the mixture more to make it better for healing purposes.
• In the end, the processed mixture is turned into either tablets or powder, depending on how much medicine you want to take at once.

Dosage of Arshkuthar Rasa

The amount of medicine you should take and how you should use it might be different depending on how serious your condition is and what an Ayurvedic doctor advises. Usually, it is suggested to take 1-2 tablets or 1-2 grams of powder two times a day after eating with water, or as instructed by a trained Ayurvedic practitioner.

Raktarsha (Bleeding piles): This medicine is particularly beneficial in cases of bleeding piles where there is significant blood loss during bowel movements. Arshkuthar Rasa helps control bleeding from hemorrhoids.

Raktapitta (Bleeding disorders): It is also used in the treatment of other bleeding disorders like epistaxis (nosebleeds), menorrhagia (excessive menstrual bleeding), and bleeding gums.

Pradar (Leucorrhea): Arshkuthar Rasa can be prescribed in cases of leucorrhea, which is a condition characterized by abnormal vaginal discharge.
