Method Of Preparation
- Get all the things you need to make Triphala Gugglu. This includes a mixture of Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki called Triphala, Gugglu resin, Pippali (also known as Long Pepper), Black Pepper, Ginger, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Varuna, Nishoth (Operculina turpethum), Haritaki, Bibhitaki, and Amalaki.
- Make sure all the herbs and ingredients are clean and not dirty or have any bad things in them. If needed, make sure to clean and completely dry them.
- Put the Gugglu resin in a clean and dry pan. Heat it gently until it melts and turns into a liquid. Be careful not to make the resin too hot or cause it to burn.
- Combine the Gugglu resin with the powdered herbs. Once the Gugglu is melted. Mix them completely to make sure everything is well combined.
- Let the mixture become cold. When the Gugglu gets cold, it will become solid and stick the powdered herbs together.
- Make small tablets or pills using your hands, after the mixture has cooled down and become solid but still flexible. You can also use moulds to make shapes that are all the same.
- Put the tablets or pills in a cool and dry place to let them dry and become hard. It could take a few days to a week, depending on the surroundings.
- Put the Triphala Gugglu tablets or pills in sealed containers to keep them dry and safe from moisture and dirt.
- Put a label on the containers with the name of the product, the list of ingredients, how much to take, and any other important information.
Dosage
Typically, it is suggested to take 1-2 tablets of Triphala Gugglu, 2-3 times daily. You can take the tablets before or after meals, or as the Ayurvedic doctor tells you to.
